Screen sharing

Whether you're planning a trip with friends or shopping online with your family, share your screen with others during audio or video calls and Meetings.

Share your screen in 1-1 audio or video calls

Android

  1. Start an audio or video call with the person you want to share your screen with by tapping on audio call or video call  in your chat with them or from the calls section of the app bottom navigation bar.


  2. Once the call starts, tap on and select Start screen share.

  3. A prompt will appear on your phone, notifying you that you're about to share your screen.

  4. Tap Start now to begin screen sharing.

  5. ​To stop sharing your screen, tap Stop screen share.


iOS

  1. Start an audio or video call with the person you want to share your screen with by tapping on audio call or video call  in your chat with them or from the calls section of the app bottom navigation bar.

  2. Once the call starts, tap on and select Start screen share.

  3. A prompt will appear on your phone, notifying you that you're about to share your screen with Arattai.



  4. Tap Start Broadcast to begin screen sharing.

  5. ​To stop sharing your screen, tap Stop Broadcast



Web

  1. Start an audio or video call with the person you want to share your screen with by clicking on audio call or video call  in your chat with them or from the calls section on top of the chat list.

  2. Once the call starts, tap on and select Start screen share. When prompted by your browser, choose whether to share a specific tab, window, or your entire screen. The interface may vary based on the browser you are using.



  3. To stop sharing your screen, click on Stop.

Note:
Before sharing your screen, ensure no sensitive information is visible. This includes usernames, passwords, personal details, and confidential documents or applications. Double-check your screen before starting the session.
