Remove attendees from meetings

This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to remove an attendee from a meeting.

Prerequisites  

You must be the meeting host or co-host to remove an attendee.

Remove attendees from meetings

Android  

  1. During the meeting, tap on the  Participants icon at the top of the meeting screen.

  2. Scroll through the list or search to locate the attendee you want to remove.

  3. Tap on the attendee’s name to view options. Select Remove from the menu.

  4. A confirmation message will appear. Tap Remove to proceed.


iOS 


  1. During the meeting, scroll down from the meeting screen to view the participant list.

  2. Scroll through the list or search to locate the attendee you want to remove.

  3. Long press on the attendee’s name to view options. Select Remove from the menu.

  4. A confirmation message will appear. Tap Remove to proceed.




Web 

  1. During the meeting, click on the Participants icon at the top right of the meeting screen.

  2. Scroll through the list or search to locate the attendee you want to remove.

  3. Hover over the attendee's name and click on   to view options. Select Remove from the menu. 


  4. A confirmation message will appear. Click on Remove to proceed


What will happen once an attendee is removed 

When an attendee is removed from a meeting, they are redirected to the meeting's end screen with a message informing them that they have been removed. Additionally, they will not be able to rejoin the meeting directly unless the host or co-host re-invites them.
