About the Pocket Feature  

Pocket is your private, cloud storage space for saving messages, media, links, and files from any chat or external application. You can directly forward any message to Pocket. You can also use Pocket to drop quick personal notes, lists, and drafts. It is accessible across multiple devices.

How to Access Your Pocket

  • Go to the main Chats screen.
  • Tap the  more menu → Pocket
  • An empty chat screen named Pocket will open. 
  • You can start saving messages or media here. 
  • Once you start using Pocket, it will get listed on your Chat list.

How to Save Content from External Apps  

Use your device's native sharing option to save media or links from outside the Arattai app.

  • In the external application, select the media or link you wish to save.
  • Tap the Share icon.
  • Select the Arattai application.
  • Choose Pocket.
  • Tap the  send icon to share in Pocket.

How to Trace Back to the Original Chat

  • Open Pocket.
  • Go to the message you want to trace back.
  • Tap the  view in chat icon.
  • You will be automatically redirected to the original message location in the source chat.

  • You will be automatically redirected to the original message location in the source chat.

  • Go to the message you want to trace back.

  • Click the  view in chat icon.
  • You will be automatically redirected to the original message location in the source chat.

How to Disable Pocket

Disabling Pocket will clear all content and remove Pocket from the chat list.

  • Tap the chat name Pocket at the top of the chat to open info.
  • Tap the  more menu.
  • Tap Disable pocket.
  • A confirmation dialog box will appear.
  • Tap Disable to confirm the action.
    Alternatively, tap and hold Pocket from that chat list, tap Disable pocket, and confirm by tapping Disable.

Yes. You can delete any content stored in Pocket at any time.

4. Is Pocket the same as messaging myself?
It is similar. Pocket is a dedicated cloud storage space separate from chats. It is designed specifically for organising and saving personal information.

Yes. You can forward any content from Pocket to other chats, and you can also share them to external apps.
