About Multi-Device Support
Arattai operates on a secure cloud-based infrastructure, enabling you to link your account to multiple devices simultaneously. This means your chats, contacts, and settings are synced across all your connected devices, allowing you to seamlessly continue conversations from wherever you are.
Note:
You can link up to 5 devices to your Arattai account. If you reach this limit and wish to link a new device, you will need to log out or terminate one of your currently linked devices first.
Message and call notifications will be sent to all linked devices. You can control notification settings locally on each device's settings.
Prerequisites
Stable Internet: A stable internet connection is required for smooth functioning and real-time syncing across all linked devices.
Supported OS: Arattai requires Android OS 6.0 or later, or iOS 14.0 or later.
Permissions: Ensure your device allows Arattai to access Camera.

Feature Differences Across Devices
While most Arattai features are available across linked devices, there are some specific differences in functionality tailored to each platform:
Android TV: This device is primarily used for Arattai Meetings functionality, offering a large-screen experience for your calls.
Apple Watch: On your Apple Watch, you can conveniently view chat screens, read texts and images, and replyto messages directly from your wrist.
Other Devices (Mobiles, Tablets, Desktops): Most other comprehensive Arattai functionalities, including full-featured chatting, audio and video calls, media sharing, and complete profile settings, are covered extensively on these devices.
How to Link a New Device
Arattai offers convenient login options, including OTP for mobile devices and QR code scanning for desktop and web platforms.
Link Mobiles, iPads, and Android Tablets
For these devices, you will log in using your registered phone number, and an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your primary mobile device.
Android
Open the Arattai app.
Ensure to read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
Tap Agree and continue.
Enter your mobile number and tap Continue.
An OTP will be sent via SMS to your phone number.
The OTP will be valid for 15 minutes.
If you face any issues or if the OTP expires, tap Resend to receive it again.
Enter the 7 digit code and tap Verify.
You will be logged in.
iOS
Open the Arattai app.
Ensure to read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
Tap Agree and continue.

Link Arattai Desktop Application (Mac, Windows, Linux)
Connect your Arattai account to your computer using the dedicated desktop application for a seamless messaging experience. Link either by scanning QR or sign in using mobile number.
1. Scan QR
Open the Arattai desktop app.
A QR code will be displayed on the screen, ready for linking.
The QR code will expire in 2 minutes. Please reload it to scan again.
Tap the ☰ more menu on the top left of your chat list.
Go to Settings → Devices & sessions.
Tap Link a device to activate the QR scanner.
Scan the QR code displayed on your desktop app.
Once the QR code is successfully scanned, your Arattai desktop application will automatically log in.
2. Sign in using phone number
Open the Arattai desktop app.
Click Sign in using your mobile number.
Type your mobile number and click Next.
You will receive an OTP via SMS.
The OTP will be valid for 15 minutes.
If you face any issues or if the OTP expires, tap Resend OTP to receive it again.
Enter the 7 digit code and tap Verify to sign in.
Link Arattai Web
Access your Arattai chats directly from your web browser, offering convenience without needing to install an application. Link either by scanning QR or sign in using mobile number.
1. Scan QR
Tap the ☰ more menu on the top left of your chat list.
Go to Settings → Devices & sessions.
Tap Link a device to activate the QR scanner.
Scan the QR code displayed on your web browser.
Once the QR code is successfully scanned, your Arattai Web session will automatically log in.
2. Sign in using phone number
Click Sign in using your mobile number.
Type your mobile number and click Next.
You will receive an OTP via SMS.
The OTP will be valid for 15 minutes.
If you face any issues or if the OTP expires, tap Resend OTP to receive it again.
Enter the 7 digit code and tap Verify to sign in.
Link Android TV
Connecting Arattai to your Android TV is primarily for enhanced meeting experiences. Link either by scanning QR or sign in using verification code.
1. Scan QR
Scan the QR code displayed on your Android TV.
Once scanned, your Android TV will be linked for Arattai Meetings.
2. Sign in using verification code.
View Active Sessions
Android
Tap the ☰ more menu on the top left of your chat list.
Go to Settings → Devices & sessions.
A list of all your linked devices will be displayed under Active sessions.
Web
Tap the ☰ more menu on the bottom left of your chat list.
Go to Settings → Devices & sessions.
A list of all your linked devices will be displayed under Other sessions.
