Add and remove admins

 As a channel admin, you can add other admins to help manage your Channel in Arattai. Admins can assist with posting content, engaging with members, and maintaining the overall functionality of the channel.

Note:

  • Only the channel owner can delete or clear the channel.

  • Admins cannot remove the channel owner or change their role to a subscriber.

From the admin list: 
  • Open the channel you want to add an admin to.

  • Tap on the name of the channel to access the Channel info page and select Administrators.

  • Tap on the  icon and select a subscriber (or more) from the list to make them an administrator. Tap on once you're done with the selection.


From the subscriber list:  

  1. Go to the Channel info page and select Subscribers.
  2. Tap on the name of the subscriber you want to promote and select Assign as admin.

Removing an admin:
  • To demote an admin to a subscriber, navigate to the channel info page and select Administrators.

  • From the list of administrators, tap on the name of the administrator you want to demote and select Dismiss admin.

  • To remove the administrator from the channel entirely, select Remove subscriber

  • You will be shown a prompt to confirm your decision. If you're sure you want to remove them, select Remove.



iOS
From the admin list: 
  • Open the channel you want to add an admin to.

From the subscriber list: 

  1. Go to the Channel info page and select Subscribers.

  2. Tap on the name of the subscriber you want to promote and select Assign as Admin.

  • To demote an admin to a subscriber, navigate to the channel info page and select Administrators.

  • From the list of administrators, tap on the name of the administrator you want to demote and select Assign as Subscriber.

  • To remove the administrator from the channel entirely, select Remove subscriber.

  • You will be shown a prompt to confirm your decision. If you're sure you want to remove them, select Remove.

From the admin list: 
  • Open the channel you want to add an admin to.

  • Click on the name of the channel to access the Channel info page.

  • Click on Administrators and select Add administrators.

  • Select a subscriber (or more) from the list to make them an administrator and click on Done once you're done with the selection.

From the subscriber list: 
  • Go to the Channel info page and select Subscribers.

  • Hover over the name of the subscriber you want to promote, click on and select Assign as admin.

Removing an admin:

  • To demote an admin to a subscriber, navigate to the channel info page and select Administrators.

  • From the list of administrators, hover over the name of the administrator you want to demote, click on and select Dismiss admin.

  • To remove the administrator from the channel entirely, select Remove subscriber.




 Managing your channel is easy with admin controls. By assigning and removing admins, you can ensure your channel runs smoothly and remains engaging.
