Forward a Message

Prerequisites  

  • Stable Internet : A stable internet connection is required to forward messages and media.
 

How to Forward a Message

Easily share messages and media from any chat with your friends. Messages can also be forwarded to StoriesPocketGroups, and Channels.

Note: Messages you forward from another user will have a “Forwarded” label, visible to both you and the recipient, unless it is edited.

  • Tap and hold on the message you want to forward.
  • Tap Forward.
    Alternatively, can you tap  forward icon to share media files and links 
  • Select any additional messages or media files you want to include (up to 25).
  • Tap the  forward arrow again at the top right.
  • Choose one or more friends from your contact list.
  • Tap the  arrow to send.

iOS
  • Touch and hold on the message you want to forward.
  • Tap Forward.
  • Select any additional messages or media files you want to include (up to 25).
  • Tap the  forward arrow again at the bottom right.
  • Choose one or more friends from your contact list.
  • Tap the  arrow to send.

Web
  • Place your cursor over the message you want to forward.
  • Click the ⋯ more menu icon that appears.
  • Click Forward.
  • Select any additional messages or media files you want to include (up to 25).
  • Click  Forward at the bottom right.
  • Select the friends you want to share with.
  • Click Forward to send.

 Forwarding limits

  • Broadcasts are not supported.
  • Some message types can’t be forwarded: Live location, Private chat invites, Meeting cards, Chat DP updates, and un-downloaded media.
