Manage Your Arattai Profile

Prerequisites  

  • Stable Internet: A stable internet connection is required for smooth functioning.
  • Permissions: Make sure Arattai has access to your device's camera and gallery.

How to Update Your Display Picture

  • Tap the ☰ menu on the top left of your chat list.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap on your current display picture.
  • Choose to Take Photo or Choose from Gallery.
  • Adjust the picture in the preview and tap Save.

iOS
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap the pencil icon next to your name.
  • Tap the pencil icon on the display picture.
  • Choose to Take Photo or Choose from Gallery.
  • Adjust the picture in the preview and tap Done.

Web
  • Click the ☰ menu on the bottom left of your chat list.
  • Go to Settings. Your Profile info screen will be visible.
  • Click on the camera icon on your current display picture.
  • Click on Upload photo.
  • Select a photo from your computer.
  • Adjust the picture in the preview and click Apply.

How to Remove Your Display Picture

  • Tap the ☰ menu on the top left of your chat list.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap on your current display picture.
  • Choose to Remove.
  • A dialog box will appear.
  • Tap Remove to confirm.

iOS
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap the pencil icon next to your name.
  • Tap the pencil icon on the display picture.
  • Choose to Remove.

Web
  • Click the ☰ menu on the bottom left of your chat list.
  • Go to Settings. Your Profile info screen will be visible.
  • Click on the camera icon on your current display picture.
  • Click on Remove photo.
  • A dialog box will appear.
  • Click Remove to confirm.

 ​How to Edit Your Name

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap the pencil icon on the top right corner. 
  • Tap on your current name to edit.
  • Type your name and tap Save.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap the pencil icon next to your name.
  • Tap your current name to edit.
  • Type your name and tap Update.

Web
  • Click the ☰ menu on the bottom left of your chat list.
  • Go to Settings. Your Profile info screen will be visible.
  • Click on your current name to edit. 
  • Type your name in the text field.
  • Click Save.

 ​How to Update Your Bio

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap the pencil icon on the top right corner. 
  • Tap the Bio field to edit.
  • Type your new bio and tap Save.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap the pencil icon next to your name.
  • Tap the Bio field to edit.
  • Type a new bio and tap Update.

Web
  • Click the ☰ menu on the bottom left of your chat list.
  • Go to Settings. Your Profile info screen will be visible.
  • Click on your Bio field to edit. 
  • Type a new bio and click Save.
