About Arattai Usernames
Your username acts as an alternative identifier that allows other users to directly initiate a conversation with you without needing to know your mobile phone number.
Privacy Focus: Your username is no longer visible in a public/global search, which means setting a username does not make your account public or globally discoverable.
Mobile Number Privacy: Your mobile number remains private, even with a username set.
Important Privacy Note on Contacting by Username :
The system is designed for private connection, but the visibility of your mobile number will change once a connection is established.
When you use a username to reach a person and send the first message, your mobile number will become visible to that specific person. This happens regardless of your phone number privacy settings.
Once a username is created, a profile link is generated which can be copied and shared to other people to reach you out on Arattai.
Creating a username is optional, and you can delete it if required.
