Voice Message Confirmation

Prerequisites  

• Android Device: This specific setting is currently available only in the Android version of Arattai.
• Microphone Permissions: Arattai must have permission to access your microphone to record voice notes.
• Stable Internet: A stable connection is required to ensure your preference is saved to your account.
  
  

What is Voice Message Confirmation

The Voice Message Confirmation feature is a safeguard designed to give you more control over your audio communication. Adding a simple check before a recording is sent, it ensures that your voice notes are intentional, clear, and sent only when you are ready. This will prevent accidental sends.

How it Works

• When you record a voice message and send it, a confirmation dialog box will appear.
  

• Tap Send to confirm.

 

How to Turn Voice Message Confirmation On or Off

• Tap the  more menu on the Chats screen.
• Go to Settings→Personalize.
• Find Voice message confirmation toggle.
• Toggle it On if you want the app to ask for confirmation before sending a voice note.
• Toggle it Off if you prefer the voice notes to be sent immediately.

1. Can I cancel a voice message after recording it?
Yes. When the confirmation dialog appears, you can choose not to send the voice message.

2. Does turning this setting off send voice messages immediately?
Yes. When disabled, voice messages are sent immediately after you finish recording, without any confirmation.

3. Is Voice Message Confirmation available on all devices?

No. This feature is currently available only on Android devices.
