Prerequisites  

  • Stable Internet: A stable connection is required to download and save media files successfully.
  • iOS Device: This specific setting is currently available only in the iOS version of Arattai.
  • Permissions: Ensure to allow Arattai to access your device's Gallery.

Understanding 'Save Media to Gallery' 

The Save Media to Gallery setting lets you control whether images and videos received on Arattai are automatically saved to your device’s gallery. This helps you decide what media is stored locally on your phone. Media received in all personal, group chats, and channels will be saved to your gallery.
You can control this behaviour separately for:
  • Images
  • Videos
When disabled, media will remain inside Arattai and will not be saved to your device gallery unless you save it manually.

How to Manage 'Save Media to Gallery'

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap Data and Storage.
  • Find Save Media to Gallery.
  • You will see two options:
    • Images
    • Videos
  • Enable or disable each toggle based on your preference.

Yes. Media received in all personal, group chats, and channels will be saved to your gallery.

Yes. You can manually save images or videos from a chat at any time.
