Record meetings

This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to record meetings across different platforms. Recording meetings can be a valuable tool for reference, sharing, and ensuring that important discussions are captured. To access recording features, make sure you're using an Arattai account, as recording is not available for guest users.

Prerequisites  

The user must be the meeting host or co-host to record.

Android


  1. As a host, once you start your meeting, tap  and select Start recording. Once this is enabled, all participants will see a consent notice with the option to continue or leave.

  1. To view recordings of previous meetings, go to the meetings tab, tap  on the top of the screen and select  Recordings.

  2. You can also view Meeting recordings on the Arattai TV app.

  3. As a host or co-host, you can control who is allowed to view the meeting recordings.

  • When scheduling the meeting, you can specify who will have access to the recording.

  • Additionally, in the meetings recordings section, click on  and select Who can access. Here, you can again specify who will have access to the recording.

Only hosts or co-hosts have the permission to delete meeting recordings. To delete a recording, in the meetings recordings section, tap on  and select Delete.

iOS

  1. To view recordings of previous meetings, go to the meetings tab, tap  on the top of the screen and select  Recording.

  2. As a host or co-host, you can control who is allowed to view the meeting recordings. 

    • When scheduling the meeting, you can specify who will have access to the recording.

    • Additionally, in the meetings recordings section, long press on the recording, tap the   icon and select who can access the recordings.

  3. Only hosts or co-hosts have the permission to delete meeting recordings. To delete a recording, in the meetings recordings section, long press the meeting you want to delete and select Delete.


Web 

  1. As a host, once you start your meeting, tap  and select Start recording.



    Once this is enabled, all participants will see a consent notice with the option to continue or leave.

  2. To view recordings of previous meetings, tap  , select  Meetings, and tap the recordings section on the left.


  3. As a host or co-host, you can control who is allowed to view the meeting recordings.

    • When scheduling the meeting, you can specify who will have access to the recording.



    • Additionally, in the meetings recordings section, click on  and select Who can access. Here, you can again specify who will have access to the recording.



  4.  Only hosts or co-hosts have the permission to delete meeting recordings. To delete a recording, in the meetings recordings section, click on  and select Delete.

 What will happen once the meeting is recorded 

Once a meeting is recorded, all participants will be notified via the consent notice. The recording will be saved for later access, allowing hosts and participants to review the meeting content.
