Protect Your IP Address in Calls on Arattai

Protect Your IP Address in Calls

The Protect IP Address in Calls setting helps improve your privacy during voice and video calls by masking your IP address. When enabled, calls are routed through Arattai servers instead of connecting directly.

Prerequisites

  • Stable Internet: A stable internet connection is required to place calls successfully.

Understanding IP Address Protection

When Protect IP Address in Calls is enabled:
  • Your IP address is masked during calls.
  • Calls are relayed through Arattai servers.
  • This adds an extra layer of privacy.
When disabled:
  • Calls will connect directly between participants.
Enabling IP address protection may slightly reduce call quality due to additional routing.
