Permissions and Channel Configurations

Permissions and Channel Configurations

iOS

Owners and admins can configure what actions subscribes can perform in a channel.

This could be:

  • React to messages

  • Show admin signatures

Note: These configurations apply to owners and admins as well.

To set permissions:

  1. Go to the channel and tap on the name of the channel at the top.

  1. Click Channel settings.

  1. Select the permissions you would like to administer.

Reactions

As an admin, you can perform two actions with respect to reactions:

  • Enable or disable reactions for the entire channel.

  • Control what reactions subscribers can use to react to posts.

The admin can set a maximum of 20 reactions and a minimum of six reactions. Only the channel owner and admins will be able to manage (add/delete/replace) these selections.

Note: Even admins won't be able to view who reacted to messages.

Admin tags

By enabling the Show Signature toggle, all messages posted in the channel will be signed with the admin's name. This allows subscribers to identify the authors of each message.

Note that previous messages sent before enabling won't be signed.
