The Media Upload Quality setting allows you to control how images and videos are sent on Arattai. By choosing between optimised or high-quality uploads, you can manage your data consumption and ensure your media is delivered exactly how you intended.

Arattai provides an option to compress media before it is uploaded. This adjustment affects the file size and the visual clarity of the content you share.

How to Change Media Upload Quality

  • Tap the  more menu on the Chats screen.
  • Go to Settings→Data & storage.
  • Find the Media upload quality section.
  • Toggle On Compress to optimise, to optimise media, or toggle it Off to upload in high quality.
Note: These changes are applied immediately and will affect all media you send.
