Before You Start
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Mobile, iPad & Tablet Only - This feature is only available on mobile phones, iPads, and tablets.
Stable Internet Required - You'll need a stable internet connection to receive real-time story notifications.
Sync Across Devices - Your preferences sync across all your devices. You'll get notified on all of them.
Blocking or Deleting - Blocking or deleting a contact also disables story notifications.
Muted Stories - Turning on story notifications for a muted contact automatically unmutes that contact's story.

How to Enable or Disable Notifications
Prerequisites:
You can enable or disable story notifications in two ways:
From a Friend's Story View
Open stories and tap on a friend's story post.
A 🔔 bell icon will appear at the top right of the screen.
Tap the bell icon to enable notifications.
Tap the bell icon again to disable.
From a Friend's Profile
Open a friend's chat.
Tap on their name to open their profile.
Tap the â‹® More options menu.
Tap Turn on story notifications to enable.
To disable, open the â‹® More options menu again.
Tap Turn off story notifications.
Manage Story Notifications
Manage your story notification list in one place. You can add or remove multiple contacts at once instead of toggling them individually.
Tap the ☰ menu on the top left of your chat list.
Go to Settings → Notifications → Manage Story Notifications.
Tap all the contacts you want to enable story notifications for.
Tap again to unselect.
Tap the ✓ tick icon at the bottom right of the screen.
You can add or remove people here anytime!
Troubleshoot
Enabled it but didn't get a notification?
First, make sure you've given Arattai permission to send notifications.
Tap the ☰ menu on the top left of your chat list.
Go to Settings → Notifications.
At the top of the screen, you'll find Not receiving notification?
Tap Fix it next to it.
The app will troubleshoot notifications for you.
