Manage In-App Notifications

Prerequisites  

  • Stable Internet: A stable internet connection is required for timely delivery of notifications.
  • Device Permissions: Ensure your device allows Arattai to send you notifications.

How to Manage In-App Notifications  

In-app notifications are alerts that occur while you are inside the Arattai mobile app. You can choose to enable or disable their sound, vibration, and preview. 

Note: This setting is only available on iOS.

  • Go to Settings→Notifications & Sounds.
  • Scroll down to In-App Notification.
  • You will find three toggle options here:
    • In-App Sounds
    • In-App Vibrate
    • In-App Preview
  • Toggle them On to enable or Off to disable each setting.

1. What are In-App notifications?
In-App notifications are alerts that appear while you are actively using the Arattai mobile app. They do not apply when the app is in the background or closed.


2. Are In-App notifications available on all devices?
No. In-App notification controls are currently available only on iOS mobile devices.


3. Will disabling In-App notifications affect push notifications?
No. In-App notification settings apply only when you are inside the app. Push notifications are controlled separately.


4. Do In-App notification settings sync across devices?
No. In-App notification settings are device specific and must be configured separately on each device.


5. Does disabling In-App previews hide message content completely?
Yes. When disabled, message content will not be shown in In-App notification alerts.
