How to Switch Between Voice and Video
Once an active one-on-one call is established, you can switch the media mode at any time without ending the call.
Android
Switching from Voice to Video: While on the voice call, tap the
video camera icon on the ongoing call screen. Your video will start transmitting to the recipient. Switching from Video to Voice: While on the video call, tap the
video camera icon to turn off your camera. The call will continue as a voice-only connection.
iOS

FAQs
1. Can I start a voice or video call with more than two people?
No. Arattai currently supports calls only for one-on-one chats. For calls with multiple people, you must use the Meetingsfeature.
2. Does Arattai one-on-one calls use my mobile data or my phone minutes?
Arattai calls (both voice and video) use your internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). They do not consume your carrier's phone minutes, but data charges may apply if you are not connected to Wi-Fi.
3. How can I change my call from video to voice while talking?
During an active voice call, tap or click the
off camera icon on your screen to instantly turn on your camera and switch the call to video mode.
4. How can I quickly redial a contact I recently called?
You can quickly redial contacts using the Calls tab, where you can find a log of all recent incoming and outgoing calls.
