Import Chat from WhatsApp
Chat import from WhatsApp helps you bring your personal and group conversations with you and continue chatting on Arattai without losing your history.
This guide explains:
What Can Be Imported
Arattai currently supports:
Group Chats
WhatsApp Group > Existing Arattai Group
If you already have a group in Arattai, you can import your WhatsApp group history into it.
WhatsApp Group > New Arattai Group
If no group exists, you can create a brand-new group and import the chat history.
Note:
- Only the chat history and available media are imported. Group settings (like admins, group picture) need to be configured again in Arattai.
- Messages will be imported into the current date. The original timestamps will be shown in iOS and the exported timestamps will be shown in Android.
- 1-1 chat import is not supported currently.
