About Group Polls
Polls let you ask questions and collect votes from participants in a group chat. They are a quick way to make decisions, gather opinions, or settle a debate without leaving the conversation.
Polls can only be created in group chats. They are not available in direct chats or channels.
How Polls Work
Participants in the group can create a poll if the group owner or admin allows it.
A poll can have up to 12 answer options.
You can choose to allow multiple answers, so participants can select more than one option.
You can set a duration when creating the poll. Voting closes automatically when the duration ends.
Poll results show the vote count for each option.
You can see who voted for each option by tapping or clicking View votes.
Polls cannot be edited after they are sent.
Polls cannot be forwarded or shared outside the group.
The poll creator, group admin, or the group owner can stop the poll anytime, even before the duration ends.
Once a poll has been posted, it cannot be deleted by participants. Only the poll creator, the group owner, or an admin can delete it for everyone.
