What are Quick Reactions
The Quick Reaction or the Double-tap to react feature is designed for speed and convenience. It allows you to express your thoughts on a message instantly by simply double-tapping it. Instead of opening a full emoji menu, you can send a pre-selected "default" reaction in a fraction of a second.
How it Works
- The Gesture: Quickly tap a message bubble twice.
- The Result: Your default emoji will appear at the bottom of that message.
- The Customization: You can choose which emoji is sent during this gesture. Currently, Arattai allows you to switch between the 👍 (Like) and ❤️ (Love) emojis to best fit your personal style.
How to Enable or Disable Quick Reactions

- Tap the
more menu on the Chats screen.
- Go to Settings→Chats.
- Find the Quick reaction toggle.
- Toggle it On to enable the feature or Off to disable it.
- Under the toggle, select your preferred default emoji: 👍 or ❤️.
