Do Not Disturb (DND)
Prerequisites
- Stable Internet: A stable internet connection is required to enable or disable DND and to resume receiving notifications.
- Device Permissions: Ensure your device allows Arattai to send you notifications.
About Do Not Disturb
The Do Not Disturb option allows you to silence all Arattai notifications for a temporary period. This is ideal for focusing during work, meetings, or rest, without permanently changing your notification settings.
You can set your DND status by selecting a specific duration. Once the time expires, notifications will automatically resume.
Note: Do Not Disturb applies only to message notifications and does not affect calls or meetings.
How to Set Do Not Disturb

- Tap the
more menu on the Chats screen.
- Go to Settings→Notifications.
- Scroll down to find Do not disturb.
- Toggle it On.
- Choose your preferred duration:
- 1 Hour - Default
- 8 Hours
- 1 Day
- 1 Week
- Once the time expires, notifications will automatically resume.
- You can also toggle it Off to start receiving notifications again.
iOS
- Go to Settings→Notifications & Sounds.
- Scroll down to find Do Not Disturb.
- Tap Duration.
- Choose your preferred duration:
- None (Turns DND off)
- 1 Hour
- 8 Hours
- 1 Day
- 1 Week
