What is Compact View  

The Compact Chat Listing feature is designed for users who want to maximize their screen space. By reducing the vertical padding and scaling down certain elements in your main conversation list, this setting allows you to see more chats at once without the need for constant scrolling.

When to Use Compact Listing  

This feature is highly recommended for:
  • Small Screens: If you are using a device with a smaller display, scrolling feels excessive.
  • Efficiency: If you prefer a "data-heavy" view, you can scan your inbox for updates at a glance.
You can switch between the standard and condensed views at any time.

How to Enable or Disable Compact Chat Listing  

Android
iOS

  • Tap the  more menu on the Chats screen.
  • Go to Settings→Personalize.
  • Find the Compact chat listing.
  • Toggle it On to apply the condensed view.
  • Toggle it Off to return to the default, spacious view.

iOS
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap on Chats.
  • Find the Compact chat listing.
  • Toggle it On to condense your chat list.
  • Toggle it Off to go back to the default view.

This feature is available only on the mobile apps for Android and iOS. It is not supported on the web.

2. Will enabling Compact Chat Listing affect other devices?
No. Layout preferences are device-specific and must be set separately on each device.
