About channels

Use the channels feature to broadcast important messages to a large audience. Channels are powerful tools for broadcasting messages to large audiences while bringing structure to your conversations. In a channel, only admins can broadcast messages to subscribers, while subscribers can only react to messages based on configuration. While a group chat is limited to 500 members, a channel can have up to 25,000 subscribers. To protect the subscribers' privacy, they won't be able to view other subscribers, nor will they be notified when a new one joins.
