About Broadcast

About Broadcast

Broadcast allows sending a message to multiple contacts at once without creating a group. This is useful for sharing updates, announcements, or information with multiple people while keeping conversations private.
Broadcast messages are individually end-to-end encrypted for each recipient.
Broadcast messages support:
  • Text
  • Emojis
  • Attachments
  • Voice notes
  • Location
  • Contacts

How Broadcast Works

  • Messages are delivered individually to each recipient
  • Recipients cannot see other recipients
  • Replies are received as private 1:1 conversations
  • Broadcast messages are end-to-end encrypted for each recipient

Broadcast Limits

  • Recipients will receive your broadcast messages if they allow it in their privacy    settings
  • Each broadcast list can include 2 to 100 recipients
  • Up to 50 broadcast lists can be created per account
  • Messages sent via broadcast cannot be edited for all recipients at once. However, messages can be deleted for everyone using the Delete for Everyone option, or they can be edited individually from each recipient’s chat.
